Am I crazy or does it bother anyone else how quickly some businesses or companies can withdraw money from my bank account when I make a payment but if I decide to cancel my order and ask for my money back, it always takes 7-10 business days? Shouldn’t it be just as quick and easy to reverse the transaction and put my money back into my account? It takes them mere seconds to take my money! It baffles my mind and they can never give me a straight answer if I dare to question this practice. They tell me it is policy and that they have no control over this but isn’t it a computer that is doing these transactions? Last I heard, we humans programmed the computers and we  should be able to override any command that we program into it. Did AI taken over financial institutions and big business and no one has informed me? If I remember correctly, every book I have read or movie or T.V. show I have seen that has to do with AI never ends well for the humans involved. I may be wrong and if I am I would truly love to know which book or movie or T.V. show has an uplifting and happy ending for people when it comes to AI. I understand that actual people can be real a-holes but have we become so jaded that we need robots to replace us?
